Officer Alexander Cole Bio

Alex was born in Anchorage, Alaska and spent the first eight years of his life in the Southern United States. He moved to Michigan with his family when was 9 years old where he lived in Davison, Michigan. He then moved to Hartland, Michigan where he did the majority of his public schooling. Alex finished school at Grayling High School and graduated from there in 2022. During his time in public school he participated in lacrosse, cross county, downhill skiing, and track and field. After graduation from high school, Alex attended Kirtland Community College with the intent to go into Law Enforcement. During his time at KCC Alex made the Dean’s List in 2022 and ran cross country with the KCC team. While attending college he also attended EMS school in Arizona becoming a NREMT (National Registry EMT) and also a Michigan licensed EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). Alex also obtained his Firefighter certificates.

Alex was hired by the Gerrish Township Police Department in August of 2023 as a sponsored Cadet in the Kirtland Regional Police Academy and graduated from the Academy’s 57th Class on December 8, 2023.

Alex spends his free time with his family and enjoys hobbies such as jiu-jitsu, running, lifting, and outdoor activities. He looks forward to serving this community that he calls home.
