Terry was born and raised in the Detroit area and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Agronomy. He and his wife have two sons, one that lives with his family in the Lansing area and the other living with his family in Vero Beach, Florida.
Terry has held numerous jobs and positions over the years with the most recent being the owner and operator of a small 9-hole public golf course.
He was hired as the Gerrish Twp. Police Department Custodian in October 2015 and has worked for Gerrish Township over 14 years and is currently doing maintenance at both the Police Department and the Township Parks/Marina Department.
Terry was elected to the Gerrish Twp. Board as a Trustee in November of 2020.
