Officer Jeremy Meyer Bio

OfficerJeremy Meyer was born and raised in Maple Forest Township in Crawford County on a small farm and has been raising livestock his entire life. He is the second one in his family to seek out law enforcement as a career as his Aunt was a former Detective for a police department downstate.

Jeremy attended Grayling High School as well as Kirtland Community College to follow his dream about learning the ins and outs of criminal justice.

Jeremy graduated from the Kirtland Regional Police Academy in May of 2025 as he was sponsored by the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office before transferring to the Gerrish Township Police Department to further his journey in law enforcement.

During his free time, Jeremy likes to work on anything with an engine, play any sport that involves a ball and frequently works out at the gym.

He looks forward to learning more about the community of Gerrish Township as well as serving the residents.
