After 26 years in law enforcement, John Wybraniec retired from the Gerrish Township Police Department in December of 2024. He served with the Gerrish Police Department and also as a Detective LT with the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office.
He currently is the custodian for our Department working part-time to keep our office and grounds clean, safe and functional.
John is married and has two adult sons. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with family, reading (a lot of reading), cooking, biking, and all sorts of building projects. He also grows every year from seedlings extremely hot peppers for jams and other uses in cooking.
