Tuesday Traffic Tidbit – Fail to Dim Headlights

According to Michigan Motor Vehicle Code 257.700, whenever a driver of a vehicle approaches an oncoming vehicle within 500 feet, such driver shall use the lowermost distribution of light or composite beam (low-beam) so that the glaring rays are not projected into the eyes of the oncoming driver.

Did you know that according to MVC 257.685 that if a motor vehicle is equipped with auxiliary lamps on the front of the vehicle, not more than a total of 4 of those lamps (lights) on the front of the vehicle shall be lighted at a time when upon a highway.
