Officer Shannon Fick

Shannon grew up in Midland, MI and graduated from Midland High School in 2011.  Shannon has been interested in Law Enforcement since she attended the D.A.R.E. Academy the summer after her fifth grade year.  The summer after her junior year in high school, Shannon attended the Michigan State Police Student Trooper Program at the MSP training center in Lansing.  It was at the Student Trooper Program that she decided Law Enforcement was definitely the career for her.  During her senior year in high school, Shannon attended the Bay Arenac ISD Career Center for Law Enforcement where she participated in the community service competition for Skills USA.  Shannon and her team placed sixth in the nation for their Anti-Bullying project that they created.

After high school, Shannon attended Ferris State University and graduated on May 9, 2015 with her Associates and Bachelors Degrees in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science and Psychology.  During her senior year at Ferris, Shannon also attended the Ferris State University 41st Law Enforcement Academy.  While at Ferris, she was very involved in the community organizing the Fallen Officer Memorial 5K Run/Walk in honor of Fallen Officers along with various other community activities.

Shannon is very excited to begin her career in Gerrish Township and is looking forward to getting to know and serve the community!
