UNIT 222

Unit 222 is built on a 2000 Freightliner chassis with a three person cab.  The fire apparatus portion was designed and built locally by CSI Emergency Apparatus.  This unit was designed as a tanker only.  It features quick dumps which enable us to quickly dump the water into the portable water tanks at the scenes while sitting in the cab and then return to our water source for refill.  This truck has a 2,000 gallon tank aboard.

It's cost was approximately $110,000 and is scheduled for replacement in 2020.
