UNIT 221

Unit 221 is a 1992 General Fire Truck on a Spartan Chassis.  This truck has a six person cab which allows firefighters to put their turn out gear on while in route to a fire scene.

This unit is equipped with a 1, 250 gallon a minute Waterous Fire Pump.  The truck has a 1,000 gallon water tank on board and also has both Class A and Class B foam systems aboard.

Unit 221 costs approximately $250,000 when purchased.  It is scheduled for replacement in the year 2012.
