OFFICER JOSH BURMESTER

Josh was born and raised in Roscommon, Mi. He graduated from the Roscommon High School in 2005 where participated in both basketball and football.  He currently holds the record for the most rebounds in a  basketball career while attending Roscommon High School.

After graduating high school, Josh immediately attended Kirtland Community College to study Criminal Justice.  While at Kirtland, Josh played for the Men's basketball team and in July of 2007, Josh enrolled in the Kirtland Regional Police Academy.  After the 17 week Academy, Josh graduated with the 25th KRPA on November.  Josh earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice pre-service at Kirtland Community College as well.  

Officer Burmester is now the newest member of the Gerrish Township team. Officer Burmester

was officially hired on November 13, 2007 to replace a retirement vacancy from

June of 2007.  Officer Burmester has a great attitude about life and we are

confident that he will be well accepted by the Gerrish Township Community. If you have not met him,
