CHEVROLET IMPALAS

The Department is currently using Chevrolet Impalas as our regular patrol units.  The Department finds the vehicles to be very economical,  using half the gas as they get almost twice the gas mileage as the other available patrol vehicles on the market.  They are also approximately $4000 per car less expensive per vehicle than other brand patrol vehicles.

The Department replaces vehicles approximately every other year and at that time the oldest of our Impalas will be retired. 

A new Chevrolet Impala will cost the Township approximately $17,755 for a new unit.
