CHEVROLET IMPALAS

The Department currently has  a Chevrolet Impala as a regular patrol units.  The Department finds the vehicle to be very economical, using half the gas as they get almost twice the gas mileage as the other available patrol vehicles on the market.  The Department found them to be very effective during the period of time of the high gas prices.

The Department replaces vehicles approximately every other year and at that time the oldest of our Impalas will be retired.
